Hinglish- Cafe Beach Bar

West Delhi has always been considered not-so-happening when it came to cafes. But in the recent times, there has been a growth in the number of good cafes in West Delhi. One such cafe is Hinglish, which is located at the entrance of Pacific Mall, Subhash Nagar.

Hinglish has recently changed its theme from colonial to beach and I would have to say that the transformation is beautiful. As soon as you enter the cafe you feel a calming effect. It has been divided into two parts. One part has wooden chairs, kitchen area and beautiful pictures and quotes on the wall. The other part has casual seating, a bar. There is also a private seating behind grills with grass patches.
The service they provided was fast and the staff was polite and well versed with the dishes.

Let me talk about the food I tried there!

For starters

Cheese and mango chutney filled croquettes– The croquettes was filled not just with cheese but also with mango chutney. It was cheesy yet there was a little spice. The outer crust was crispy and when served with mint chutney, the croquettes were a delight to eat.

Broccoli Malai Kebab– Never had I thought that I would eat Broccoli with malai. The presentation of the dish was as amazing as the taste.

Barley and Jowar Salad– This Barley and Jowar salad was my favorite out of all the dishes. It was light and delicious with hung curd as dressing.

Main Course-

Veg Premium Tiffin– North Indian cuisine is one of the cuisines I love. The tiffin included Paneer tikka, Dal Makhani, Paneer curry, naan, rice and salad. Both the Paneer dishes were tasty. Dal makhani was thick and creamy.

Drinks-

I tried some of the shakes over there. The ones which are absolutely worth trying are Oreo and Dark Chocolate shake and Banana and caramel shake. Even the iced teas are good here.

After we were done with our food, we had this dessert-making session where we learned how to make Bread and butter pudding and Choco Eruption. Both of them were appetizing but if I had to choose between them then I would definitely go for Choco Eruption

The place is worth trying for its attractive interiors and delicious food!
